Red Squirrels
Wandering through the trees at Pow Hill nature reserve in County Durham, and it wont take long before you hear that familiar rustle of leaves and you will be greeted with a glimpse of bronze fur, which if you are lucky, will stick around long enough for you to grab a pic, these little, guys are on the endangerd list, and are a rare sight, especially in the Durham area, however, I was thrilled to spend an hour with my husband last week, just watching and enjoying the antics of four babies, zooming around the trees and breakneck speeds. I was enjoying the moment too much to try and capture it. I am planning another visit fully equiped with gear in the next few days.
